Josh Kronfeld is an All Blacks legend and a cult hero in Dunedin, where he played more than 100 games for Otago and the Highlanders.

An openside flanker known for his relentless work rate and intelligence around the breakdown, Josh played 54 Tests for the All Blacks and competed in two Rugby World Cups during a pivotal period in the sport’s history as rugby transitioned from amateur to professional.

He also played a central role in the Rugby Wars of the mid-1990s, helping secure the commitment of leading All Blacks to New Zealand Rugby during one of the most turbulent times in the game.

Since retiring from professional rugby, Josh has remained a familiar face in New Zealand media, including reporting for The Crowd Goes Wild, while also appearing on television shows such as Celebrity Treasure Island and Dancing With The Stars.

Away from rugby, Josh is known for his wide-ranging interests. A trained physiotherapist, he is also a surfer, artist, classic car restorer and a thoughtful observer of the world around him.

On stage, Josh brings humour, perspective and insight from elite sport, sharing stories from the All Blacks environment alongside reflections on leadership, teamwork and personal growth.
